I had paid for a year of warranty and shipping already. According to the industry norms if a tree is warranted then it must be replaced Not to be charged a price difference for replacement plus shipping! I have dealt with other nurseries they warranty their plants for a year at no extra charge and if the plant dies I just called them and they would replace it No extra charge No pictures and No hassle. Claiming to be the biggest nursery in the US at least match the warranty standards of the other Nurseries.

I purchased several plants under the impression that I was receiving a buy get one free . When Iinquired less than an hour after placin G the prefer I was told that they had sold out the plant I thought I ordered. When I canceled the order they charged me a 10% service fee. I will share this experience with my master gardener friends. VERY DISAPPOINTED. RAY

Bought two small shrubs last spring which arrived very dry in the box. The plants, with extra TLC did not thrive and are nearly dead this spring. Have been going back and forth with their customer service for a year now, and they still won't admit to sending 1/2 dead shrubs, and I am 13 yr. professional lanscaper/ arborist. They will never get another order from me.

Ordered a Lambert Cherry tree on 5/4/23. Delivery was delayed several weeks. Upon inquiry, customer service informed me that delivery was delayed because they were waiting on trees to become more established prior to shipment. Tree finally arrived on 6/6/23 in very poor condition. Leaves were completely wilted on arrival. It was potted in very course, poorly moisture retentive media. This is the 3rd and 4th time I have used Nature Hills Nursery ever since last year. I've had two landscapers down here in Texas that my Lilacs, Magnolia tree aren't and don't grow here in Texas. Well after a year ago, they are growing and blooming. Someone here also told me Pink Dogwood trees face the same fate. Well, we'll find out as my trust in the quality of Nature Hills Nursery products goes against the thinking of these native Texans!

Ditto other bad reviews. Scammers. Trees were of poor quality and shorter than advertised. One from Minnesota and another from California. They were unable to replace with correct quality and maturity and declined to refund. Had to use credit card company to get my money back.

I bought two Vitex Chaste #3 plants. Both arrived with heavy black spots. I contacted them immediately and was told its expected this time of year. Black spot don't spread through the air, but it does through water and the last thing I need is it spreading to my other plants. I ask to return them and was told no. I then ask if they would at least supply some fungicide so I could get them treated before planting, and was told no. Coli Hunter, Nature Hills employee has refused to refund $80. for a sick Dogwood Tree that keeps looking worse and worse.
