Received a phone call few minutes after I requested online for a roof gutter cleaner last December 7, 2018, Friday. I was impressed initially. Ned Stevens took all my credit card information even the security code. I inquired if they can come in the following day which was Saturday, December 8, 2018. He said they can't come in that Saturday but stated they'll come by next week depending on the weather (btw, weather was perfect the following week. I hired them Dec 6th. They said would come out and bill me after work done. They called twice before Dec 20th to say still backed up and will get to me. Dec 30th - Still haven't been out. While I understand bad weather delays, weather has been unseasonably mild this month. Terribly disappointed. Unreliability from vendor of this size is inexcusable.
Called for a gutter cleaning in Nov. when I called two weeks after to ask when it would be done they told me that they don,t work when it is below 38 and that it was cold but they have crews set up and working when they can. Be patient they have me on the list . After another two weeks they told me the same and would perform the service when they can. When I told them to cancel the service and return my fees they were able to clean the gutters the next day.
I called this company in the Fall to schedule gutter cleaning for the first week of November. When no one called to confirm appt. I called them and was told it would be done the 2nd week in November. Here it is December and a crew shows up as I was leaving. There was ice in the gutters and I wasn't sure how the cleaning would proceed. Customer Service was very pushy trying to get me to get a year contract. Workers were very unfriendly and left without even letting me know they were done. Thought was too expensive for the time it took to do the job.
So I hired them but couldn't get a clear response for when they would come to do service. The problem was I filled out this form on Homeadvisor and someone calls me on the weekend to say that they will be there Monday or Tuesday weather permitting. So today being Tuesday I just wanted an update. I call customer service and sit on hold. The rep comes on and I said hi I would like to know when you guys are planning on coming to my house. they charged extra, didn't notify me of the change, then took $100 on top of that
I didn't like paying up front. They also didn't arrive during the window that they originally gave me. They also came and left and only left a note asking me to call the office about a problem on my roof.
