Our party of four loved the experience at Nesso. Food was outstanding! It is expensive, but worth it for a special evening.
Cappacio was my favorite. Different ingredients spread out giving different flavors and textures for a balance on your taste buds. The agnolotti was also fantastic. Love the ratio of the pasta and filling. Recommend this place.
Starting with the drinks the bartenders were knowledgeable of the liquor selection and the menu making our choices easier and well matched. The food was delicious. The Carpaccio was tender and tasty, the Polenta was smooth as butter, the Spaghettini was perfectly prepared and had a wonderful lemon flavor without being overpowering and was a great match with the Pollo. It's not your typical red-sauce Italian restaurant but by my estimation it is now the best Italian restaurant in town.
Unique menu, excellent in every way. Best Old Fashion in town.
From start to finish this is proof that Cunningham gets it and that Indy is really crushing it in terms of restaurant variety. The interior of Nesso is great - good lighting and nice modern feel - we got a small table but recommend requesting the larger couch seating for two- four. It was small plates of pasta but ample portions and delicious. We selected a wine as well and had the righ... read more
Spectacular food, and service to match. Job well done!
Our server was very attentive and did a nice job describing dishes. Our table was a booth up front which was comfortable and roomy. Food was good but not outstanding. Gnocchi dish is not traditional gnocchi and it lacks punch. The veal was good and the Carbonara was nice.
It was tasty, but portions are small. I cleaned my plate, even after also having an appetizer.
If we come back, we’ll focus on getting just pastas, risotto and tiramisu, because those are the shining stars. This was our second time here and we compare it to Vida (our favorite) and Cerulean, the restaurant that used to be in this space. Both of those places are/were superior to Nesso in our opinion. The “bread” they claim is made fresh daily by a pastry chef was toasted, (inedible without being soaked in the dipping oil, which you don’t get enough of, and what do you get isn’t very flavorful) and the flavors and textur... read more
