My husband and I were meeting friends to dine at Nesso for the first time. We were early and decided to grab a drink in the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Once our friends arrived, we were seated and Anthony was our server. He was outstanding! He was very friendly and helpful with our food questions. But the food.... WOW! It was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
This is our third time at Nesso. We have had outstanding meals all three times. Everything from cocktails to appetizers, to main courses to desserts are prepared to perfection and served in style. We will continue to frequent this restaurant. It is quickly becoming our favorite dining spot in Indy.

Our group shared the bruscetta , the figs and the carbonara pasta. They were all fabulous. Then we had the scallops, salmon and veal. Everyone loved their entrees and suggested wine selections were perfect. Will go back
From the greeting to departing, we were very impressed with the atmosphere, the kind and detailed menu explanations, the recommendations by waiter Lee, the presentation of the food, and the flavorful enjoyment of each item ordered! We did not feel rushed, while everything was served in a timely manner, and the recommendation of the Tiramasu was OUTSTANDING - it was all the tiramasus we have ever ordered consolidated into one "to die for" magnificent ending to a most enjoyable meal and experience. Unfortunately, Nesso has taken a downward turn since it first opened. Several menu items don’t have the same quality...while some new offerings were just clear misses. Hopefully they can get it together, as it used to be a favorite Cunningham Group restaurant for me.
We were celebrating a birthday for our adult son and his family. We were disappointed that there was no children's menu but there was spaghetti so we thought that would be okay. It was covered in lemon oil and of course the kids wouldn't eat it. So many of the dishes were coated with lemon! Then the dessert selection wasn't very good. I understand having Italian desserts but you should ALWAYS offer chocolate cake or ice cream or cheesecake.
