Great food. Great service. We have been there twice in two weeks. Lots of flavor.
Our first time to Nesso. Just my wife and I on a Friday night. Happened to see one of our friends and their senior managers, Roddy. we had simply a wonderful night and the most incredible meal. Multiple courses with wine pairings! Octopus and tuna for the Crudo course, followed by tortelloni and rissoto for the primi course. The entrées followed. The food is exquisite. Excellent menu and service. A little pricey but this is not your pasta and breadsticks Italian restaurant. Every dish was creative, well-prepared, and satisfying. Among our top choices of restaurants in Indy these days.
Even though this restaurant recently opened, they have their act together. Server was informative without being overbearing, food was outstanding and ambiance exceptional.
Excellent carpaccio appetizer. Nice salmon and pork mains. Very good but not 5 star menu. Waiter attentive. Some slow periods in service but not remarkable. Main negative was the background noise — made it necessary to raise our voices to converse.

The food was lacking something. The noise volume level is a barrier to my return. I understand that the current design is for high ceilings and open space, but the high ceiling increases the noise level to nearly intolerable levels. My date asked 2 questions at different times of the waiter, both times he apologized for not hearing her question and asked that the question be repeated. Nesso - the food is amazing - but I feel it will be unappreciated. Italian food with a sophisticated twist. My only gripe.... I was very disappointed to find us seated in a Bar... when there was a very cosy dining room up front. It was my 50th Birthday and I did list that in the comments at booking..... the bar area is not what I expected for the price tag ... TV screens and game on ......... yikes..Sorry ...
Quite pricey. Great service. Amazing and authentic food.
