My mother and my father have benefitted from NER in the past 2 years (2025-26). No one wants to need these services, but they are amazing. The facility is dated but well maintained. The food is borderline unhealthy, but no one is going to starve. However, the care is exceptional. My mother ended up here at 86 after a major emergency abdominal surgery - she thrived and returned to baseline. Tremendous care for my two weeks of rehab after I was discharged from the hospital after 30 days. New England rehab has the best trained employees in all areas of expertise.

My wife was there after a fall and hip fracture. The care was outstanding. People were attentive, competent, and compassionate. PT and OT were successful in getting her up on her feet. PT and OT completely prepared me to continue her care at home; a significant task because I had no clue. Imagining, lab work all fast and comprehensive. I could follow all the info on MyChart. Absolutely amazing organization. I feel very lucky that they were there when we needed so much help.

I'm unsure of why some folks give this facility such awful reviews. I can't praise them enough! Wonderful facility, staff, nurses, PT/OT/Speech, even food! They were responsive to our needs and concerns. They took great care of my wife. Almost hated to leave ... almost.

I was there for a month this past summer post knee surgery and the staff was superb from the nursing stuff to physical therapists. I certainly have no qualms at all recommending them a place for rehabbing after surgery. The physical therapists there are amazing! The food was not bad for hospital fare. I certainly didn't find it be, as the other comments did, bad. But then I've eaten military food as well, so I'm used to mass prepared food.
