The following comments are based on my experience during and after services for the house build on 2017 by NTH. (1) Our new house by NTH has countless flaws and problems that I am spending 20 months long chasing guys coming to repair and touch up and feeling extremely exhausted. RecommendedGosh, I just love New Tradition homes! We have owned two new builds and are so grateful for the craftsmanship and the way the company stands behind the build. Great people, great builders. We are currently not in a New Tradition home and can see the difference.
New Tradition Homes installed manufacturing defective shingles on our roof. 3 roof inspectors already confirmed the damage. Instead of doing the right thing and replace the shingles, NTH told to us to file a claim with the shingles manufacturer. Months later our claim is denied and when we asked NTH for help, we received the silent treatment. Whatever happen to building “homes of high quality, enduring design and lasting value” (quoted from your website)? We are deeply disappointed and upset.
"What makes New Tradition Homes unique is that we truly allow you to customize your floor plan and selections, and we’re here to help you EVERY STEP OF THE WAY... you will be able to move into a space you love that is exactly how YOU want it!",............. They certainly are not living up to their mission statement while currently building a friends home.�
I will preface this by saying we are fully approved by our lender, as well as a Disabled Veteran and qualified for a VA loan. Upon meeting with a New Traditions Sales Associate, we were told "It would not be a problem having a home built considering we have home to sell." It was further stated, "You can do a non-contingency if you $5,000 after a mutually agreed contract is signed." We've been back and forth for a month or so, with offers and counter offers.
