The surgeon was amazing but their billing practices are horrible, they over charge for procedures and refused to refund money that was overcharged. When you call to talk to billing you are told they are all busy and no one calls you back .

My estimate for two extractions was much higher than I was told by my Dental office. When I had to decline due to the amount I was shown the door. They need to be more transparent about cost so you are not put in a position of having to decline needed care.

I’m over 60 years old and I had the worst experience in my life at a dental office. I went to the Salem office to have a simple extraction by Dr. El Ounsi. Jamal was the dental assistant. I became concerned when Jamal was taking an X-ray. He didn’t know how to put the lead vest on me and had to ask another assistant for help. They have rude and unhelpful staff that is super friendly to you until after you have paid for their services. After that its a big F U if you require any sort of follow-up attention as a result of issues from a procedure. They would not even email my wife's medical information so that she could apply for FMLA, they told her that she should have "showed up for work and filed documents to seem like you were working" (she is not a secretary, no part of her job involves filing documents). If you blindly visit this practice because your dentist referred you, expect to spend 2 hours for a simple consultation -- 1.5 hours of that is waiting for the dentist to grace you with his presence. At the end of the two hours, they will surprise you with the $500+ consultation fee. Do not trust your dentist who might be part of this scam. Do your own research. I found a more reputable practice that will perform the same procedure for less than 1/2 the cost and only a $110 consultation fee.
Dr.Moavenian is a very skilled dentist but his staff are very cunning. They will make you to undergo unnecessary investigations and make you pay for it when the insurance does not pay for it. BEWARE OF HIS CUNNING STAFF!
