Nice presentation, good food and service. Was a nice place for Mediterranean
Cute date night spot. Went for restaurant week. Meatballs were the crown jewel and the sangria was REAL sangria. Loved it. Will be back for the sangria again and again.
Service was excellent and very attentive...Attentive and not intrusive which is very important..As for the food (restaurant week menu), the first five courses were outstanding..The diver scallops although well cooked were very fishy and lamb meatballs were a bit dense..My date did not care much for the premium wine tasting but my sangria was fairly decent.. I would revisit Nia but to try their other menu options and enjoy the speak easy ambiance.
Went in for restaurant week and the food was good, great hummus!, but the service was just ok. Prior to sitting down we waited in the very small area by the door for maybe 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once we sat down the service was minimal, only coming by to serve food and clear plates. We noticed that many other groups were also waiting up by the front and it was distracting. I had a friend that made me realize this place is one of the longest tenured places on the now famous restaurant row in West Loop on Randolph street. I have always seen the place but never thought to come inside or check it out. Restaurant Week happened and I figured since they were serving an 8 course tapas meal for $33 there was no better deal for those couple weeks so I needed to bring my @$$ on over here with a group of friends. NIA has been My favorite for many years. It is the best GOTO location.
We went to Nia for restaurant week as a team outing and the quality of food was beyond the price they charge, it was outstanding. The server was very friendly and offered her opinion if asked which of the following items are better. We were there around 2 1/2 hours and We didn't feel rush what so ever. I recommend the bacon dates and Nia salad. I would definitely go back if in the west loop area again.
We visited during Chicago Restaurant Week with a group of eight. The multiple course menu option was nice option especially for foodies who may want to have an eight course or ten course meal. The $20/pp unlimited red or White House sangria for 2 hours was a bargain.
We went for the Restaurant Week menu and the food was very good. They had a wine pairing menu as well as a bottomless sangria option. Highly recommend going with someone who has similar food preferences as the entire menu is shared plates.
