RecommendedI have been with Nickerson since I can remember. I have had Dr. Merlee for the past 12 years or so. He is the most compassionate vet that I know. He takes his time and will go over all your concerns with your pet. The whole staff is awesome and friendly.

Dr. Keith Merle is an outstanding veterinarian, and his staff is extremely kind and helpful. I have been taking my dogs to Nickerson Animal Health Center for more than 25 years. I highly recommend them!

RecommendedTook my dog in for what started as kennel cough that transitioned to low grade pneumonia. Not common in a young, vaccinated dog, but can happen. Dr. Merhle & the rest of the staff were wonderful. Even though they are extremely busy, they were able to squeeze us in a few times over the course of a few weeks since he wasn't responding to treatment like he should. Everyone on staff was friendly, compassionate, and helpful!

RecommendedThere are multiple vets so appointments are easy to get. During this Covid-19 time they are not allowing more than one person with the pet inside. They should remind people of this because my spouse had to wait in the car during the appointment. The staff and vets are great. Good 'bedside' manner.
