Ā RecommendedTook my dog in for what started as kennel cough that transitioned to low grade pneumonia. Not common in a young, vaccinated dog, but can happen. Dr. Merhle & the rest of the staff were wonderful. Even though they are extremely busy, they were able to squeeze us in a few times over the course of a few weeks since he wasn't responding to treatment like he should. Everyone on staff was friendly, compassionate, and helpful!Ā
The medical staff are very thorough with her and very kind. They have helped her to overcome being afraid of the office. Always answer all my questions. I never feel rushed.Ā
There are multiple vets so appointments are easy to get. During this Covid-19 time they are not allowing more than one person with the pet inside. They should remind people of this because my spouse had to wait in the car during the appointment. The staff and vets are great. Good 'bedside' manner.Ā
Friendly and professional staff and the physicians are very caring and kind.Ā

Dr. Merle is so compassionate. Itās not fake nice, itās not over the top, itās a genuine love for your pet. Heās a great communicator, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. May he never retire.Ā
Nickerson Animal Health Center has a great staff that really cares about their patients. I moved to the area recently and needed a vet for my 17 year old cat and they have been nothing but kind and compassionate for my old guy! I would highly recommend their clinic because they truly care about the pets they are taking care of. Thank you NAHC!!Ā
