Dr. Clayton has been my dentist since I moved to Northampton 15 or so years ago. Over that period of time, I have come to respect him greatly. He is intelligent, articulate, and immediately empathetic, and always makes me feel like a person, not just an open mouth — even when he is doing serious work. I had a dental emergency in the middle of work today. Ouch! I called the office, they fit me in this afternoon. The treatment was the best possible. Thank you, Dr. Canby!

My experience with Dr Canby has been superior until my 9/6 appointment. I share most of the responsibility for that. I think I had a reaction to an ingredient in the lunch I hurriedly gulped down while driving to the appointment. I became somewhat confused and sleepy and I wasn't sure whether appt was for filling or cleaning. There was a question about payment for fillings - ?I would be charged for only one of two fillings if ____? I was informed I had to pay for both.
