We had to bring our 15 year old dog in about midnight last night for fever and bloody stools. The entire staff was very friendly and treated our baby well. It was very expensive but I knew it would be. Other than the cost (which were all thoroughly explained), we were satisfied with our experience.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind review, Missy. Your feedback means a lot to our staff! I’m so happy we could be there for you and Sassy when she needed help. We really hope she is doing better and back to feeling like herself. It is an honor to be entrusted with your fur-baby’s care. Please know we are always here for you should you need anything in the future!

Had to bring my Autumn here on 7/22/15. We transferred her from New Haven Pet Hospital who didn't have the equipment for further testing on her. When we brought her in they realized she was in critical condition by looking at her VERY pale gums and immediately took her to the back to start an IV with fluids. Receptionist was very sweet. We needed to wait for Dr. Totten to come in the next morning because she's the medicine specialist. Unfortunately Autumn possibly had leukemia or lymphoma. Further testing would take until th... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your kinds words Lisa. Autumn was a special girl; every pet we treat, no matter how long, touches our doctors and staff. We’re so sorry for your loss, but we’re glad that we were able to be there for you during such a difficult time. Our fur-babies are never with us long enough, but enough to live forever in our hearts. Our job is not always easy, but it is loving and responsible pet owners like you that make what we do worthwhile. We hope Autumn’s memories help you through this difficult time.

VERY NICE FACILITY & KIND, CARING STAFF. Took my 11 year old chihauhau over at 3AM for possible broken leg and found it was simply a dislocated knee (left patellar luxation). Received pain meds.

I recently brought my dog Maddie in with seizures and knew she wouldn't make it long with the seizures and had to put her down. They where very nice and very loving to us and our dog. What made it hard was the sympathy card we got after. It made us cry again but it reminded us of the time we had with Maddie and we're glad we choose them for this. I will let all my friends know to take there dogs and cats here.

Our 8 week old mini Aussie broke her tibia and needed orthopedic surgery. We were worried about not only the puppy, but how the injury would affect her life in the long term because she was so tiny- 5lbs and had so much growing to do. Dr. Coolman and staff were incredible. A rod and wires were surgically implanted, Her leg and bone have healed and grown around the implant. You would never know this fiesty little girl ever had a broken leg. She is so quick and 100% lil Aussie. The staff was awesome!

Thank you so much for the sympathy card and the paw print of my cat Lizzie. I definitely was not expected what happened the night I took her in to see you guys. However the doctor and the vet tech were so nice and showed a lot of compassion, didn't rush me with any decisions I needed to make and gave me all the time I wanted with Lizzie before I had to say goodbye to her. I appreciate you guys so much!!

I recently chose to bring my post-op pug here for overnight monitoring because I didn't want her to have to stay at the vet overnight alone after surgery. I am a first time fur-mama for the past year and 6 months and call me overprotective but I wanted to have to ability to call and get a status on my puppy if I felt inclined. I was warned that they would be extremely expensive but when I called they gave me a range they it might cost to keep her overnight and I was ok with it (between $250-$450) It was worth it to me.
