RecommendedNIVES is literally a lifesaver! Our beloved fur baby Toast got sick suddenly and we were unable to get him the proper diagnosis and care in our small town during a crucial time. I had to take my cat Azazel to NIVES. The staff were very compassionate throughout the night and I appreciated they were upfront about the cost of the treatment plan before beginning. Fortunately Azazel is going just fine. However if you’re experiencing an emergency with your pet I wouldn’t hesitate to take them to NIVES. Highly recommend!
My pup and I had to spend a Saturday with NIVES after she tore a gnarly gash in her leg. She required some sedation and suturing. We were brought back within 45 minutes of arriving and checking in which I didn't feel was unreasonable. The staff was kind and helpful as we brought my dog in on the gurney. After we got her checked out by the vet tech and vet, they decided she needed to be sedated and sutured. It took a little over two hours to suture her up because they didn't give enough sedatives to keep her under sedation. A... read more

Doctors explained problems, options, difficulties of each option, and listened to my concerns. Nurses, aides, and all were very professional and friendly. I felt like they really cared about my Loki.

Absolutely the best care that my dog is receiving. He has Large Cell Lymphoma and the care and treatment he is receiving there will help to extend his life. They are all very caring, and take the time needed to explain in detail his treatment plan.

All the staff is very caring to the pets and owners. They are always willing to answer questions and any of your concerns. You are able to call anytime and check on your pet and get updates. Excellent service from the time we walked in the door, till our pet was discharged.

The veterinarian was wonderful with my puppy. He’s usually so skittish and scared around people but he loved her and how kind she was
The staff was extremely nice and caring. The urgent care staff, Nancy and Gabby, were very apologetic when they had to close due to their doctor having an emergency. We were transferred to the emergency room. Our little Jack Russel was a level 2 patient so our wait time was a little long. Once they had a room open, we got right in. From there we waited about a half hour before they took our baby back for an outpatient procedure. Everyone took great care of our baby and we were able to take her home. Thank you 🙏
