I feel mentally & physically better with such great support from Dr. Thompson.
Was aware of my specific conditions right from the start of the visit. Suggested several choices and was firm about what I needed to due. Striaght forward with some humor thrown in.Easy to talk to and did not feel rushed.
I have been seeing Endocrinologists since I was 5 years old, and she may be one of the smartest, but also one of the not nicest. I left her office crying every time.
I have been see Dr. Thompson for years. She provides me guidance and treatment that has helped me lower my A1c from 7.9 in 2018 to 6.5 now. Thank you Doctor!
Dr. Thompson is extremely knowledgeable, had a great office staff, and is very easy to talk to send understand. She is firm, but understands real life and real life situations. She is willing to talk and discuss things and options and ideas that both the patient and herself have in the treatment of diabetes. She understands what the medical books state, but knows that not everyone fits into those molds and ideas and adapts treatments to the individual. Great doctor and very easy to communicate with.
Listens to your concerns, reviews blood work with you
Very knowledgeable. She cares about her patients and works to improve their health. She is such a good doctor that appointments are scarce and need to be made months in advance. It is worth the wait.
Dr. Thompson has an excellent background in diabetes care. She thoroughly reviews lab results, in addition, she examines the patient to see if any physical problems may be occurring. It was stunning to hear her inquire if I had seen her medical assistant for usage of my new pump. She provided (me) with the necessary forms for both future lab tests as well as a list of specialists for foot care. I had written about the 1000 characters allowed when the whole review went off the screen. don't know it you got it or not. Dr. Thompson is wonderful, but front office needs some work. I sat there for my appointment, for almost two hours. Evidentially the back office didn't know I was there. I signed in like 10:10 am and didn't get out of there until after 12:00 noon.
