After trying so many times with other doctors, Dr. Thompson identified and fixed my issue. I've never had an unpleasant experience with her or her staff.
I found Dr Thompson to be knowledgeable, caring, detail oriented, articulate, and realistic.
I am absolutely appalled by how I was treated by this office. I had an appointment scheduled for four months, confirmed everything—including insurance—just last week. I was literally on my way to the appointment when I got a voicemail 30 minutes before saying the doctor “needed to reschedule” because I’m a “new patient and the doctor needed 60 minutes for my appointment.That’s funny—I saw this same doctor in 2021. I have been trying to get an appointment with this doctor since May. They have moved my appointment 5 times since May. About two months before my appointment, invariably I get a call saying, "unfortunately the doctor won't be in that day, we must move you to (insert two months later), I understand that this may happen, as I worked for surgeons, but 5 times? I would have to get new blood work since my blood work won't be good enough for the appointment they have moved 6 months ahead. Disgusting.
She acts uncaring and is extremely condescending. These are NOT qualities you want in a Doctor. Especially when you have a chronic disease. Additionally, my next endo diagnosed in one month a condition she missed for 2 yrs. I wouldn't go to Dr Thompson if she was the LAST endocrinologist in South Florida. Trust me, I'd drive to Tampa if I had to. I'm sad to say negative things, but I'm just being honest. Perhaps these (many) negative comments will spur her to change her actions & behaviors.
