I never got to meet the actual doctor that would do the procedure. I understand he cannot personally do all of the testing, but a quick introduction would have been nice. After all, they are my EYES. Two other doctors ran me through some tests. The first doctor barely spoke any words and didn't explain anything he was doing. The second was a little more personable and explained a little bit. I will not be using this practice.
During my appointment they took my glasses to measure them they said, when I got home my glasses had deep scratches in them and we’re unusable I went back to show them to him and I was told nobody was there to help me as somebody would call me back that never happened. I’m out $215 for new lenses
My first visit was good, except the part where another patient walked in when I was doing my testing and I felt very distracted and the tech was talking so loud it was hard to hear my Dr. give me commands. I had to ask again what was the purpose of this and he just said we are busy. The tech said, "let's get cozy" Not a good first visit.
I've been coming to NVision in Laguna Hills for all my pre and post op exams for LASIK. Before my surgery when Dr. G was there, I thought highly of the Laguna Hills office, but after my surgery and after Dr. G left, I sadly cannot say the same. The wait time for a simple examination is ridiculous - I waited half an hour in the waiting room, had someone take a few simple measurements, then sat for another half an hour waiting for the doctor to glance at my eyes and tell me I was good to go. It was a crazy Friday afternoon but I was processed as quickly as possible and I love Dr Raoof! I wish I could have made my yearly appointment because I might forget
I felt that something might be wrong with my operation. It took longer than the first one in my right eye and my follow up exam was set for Laguna Hills, close to where I live. But Dr. P asked that I come to the NB office; he felt the doctors there were better suited to do the review and remove the contact lens. This added to my concern. I’ve been coming to Nvision for me pre and post op care for LASIK surgery. Prior to surgery, I felt good about the care I was receiving. The day of surgery, my fiancé and I were left waiting for almost 4 hours for a procedure that lasted 10minutes - I was told we would be there an hour tops. My original Dr. who did all my pre-op appointments left the company, and since she has been gone, I have felt there has been a huge drop in care and consideration.
