Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this place, the new director is unprofessional, inappropriate and not pleasant to work with. If you are touring this facility please ask to see the kitchen, you will change your mind immediately. Ask yourself do you want your loved ones being cared for by someone who doesn’t speak or understand English. Some of the caregivers are very rough handling some residents. The Oaks at Alpharetta is great place to live and work. The residents are happy to call this place home. The staff are pleasant and the director is always making sure that residents are happy and well fed.
Work space is Completely unethical and unprofessional their team lead is all over the place when I went on my tour the place smell like absolute piss. I found no one welcoming at all and further researching this place I found that they don’t value their residence or the choice of the family members who chose for their loved ones to be resident here they don’t invest in their property with the money you put into the retirement home at all, and I would not recommend this place for your loved ones to reside at. I would never put my family member in this place. This is a horrible place the residents don’t want to be there the kitchen is the most disgusting place I’ve seen food being served from. There are bugs and rats on the property. The executive director treated me like a complete criminal. I was retaliated against for speaking out about the horrible conditions of the kitchen and the possibility of food borne illnesses. Amongst other thing I can not disclose but here is a few pictures to corroborate.
I was a caregiver at this facility and unfortunately, my experience was very awful. The resident were the only reason I stayed so long I would’ve quit the first week. I wouldn't have stayed so long if it wasn’t for a wonderful lady named Angela she is one of the event planners that works mainly in memory care fortunately, they fired me due to me calling out, nine hours before my shift due to me breaking out and hives.
