The renovated space makes an immediate positive impression. The staff is very engaged and appears to have good continuity. The memory space is easily accessed and promotes residents being out of their rooms to the extent possible. It's a point an emphasis for Oaks. And I've had a positive experience with Curana, their health care provider. The Director of Sales is so nice. She's very responsive and engaged. The staff is amazing! My dad fell and they were quick to call us and keep us up to date with what was happening...they were diligent about checking in on him during his hospital stay and when he was in rehab.
Facility pleasant. Staff helpful and courteous. Recommend yes.
We really love the Oaks and see it as a huge value for the cost. It's a smaller, more intimate community which we see as really important...especially now that mom is on the memory care side. There is a good level of attention, and they make sure mom is always in the mix with the other residents.

The Horizons memory care staff at The Oaks were outstanding and very hard working. There is always a learning curve in a new setting, and they were able to quickly overcome. My mother was there for 17 months, until she passed, and I truly felt she was treated and cared for as well as family by every caregiver. She frequently expressed to me how safe and cared for she felt there. I would highly recommend this facility for care of any loved one needing memory care
