Communication with staff is not what I hoped it would be. No particular staff person is assigned to a resident so I don't have a person to communicate with regarding my family member who resides there.

Such caring people. They go above and beyond for there residents. My uncle has had alot of health issues since moving in and they make sure to keep an eye on him and keep me informed
My husband and I toured several local senior living facilities from Ellijay to Hiawassee, GA. We both knew this was the place for his mom and sister. Neither can live on their own anymore. We were able to get them a larger apartment type room since they are together. The staff has been nothing but welcoming and supportive. So many activities to participate in daily and overall just a lovely clean updated facility.

We've been very happy with the Oaks. The staff is very caring and attentive. Almost too attentive as my mother takes advantage of that. I get regular texts on how my mom is doing for if she needs me to bring anything to her. We were able to move her to a room on the first floor near the dining room so she is happier. My mother complains some about the meals but she's pretty much a fast food queen. The meals look ok and there is a variety and she is eating better. We moved my now 96 year old father into The Oaks going on 2 years ago. The facility was recommended to me by a friend whose mother was there. When asked how he likes it at The Oaks, Daddy will be the first to tell you that he has died and gone to Heaven. He loves it here! The staff treats the residents with care, respect, and love.
