I have been to the Oaks at Ellijay multiple times now for special events and tours, and I am in love with the entire atmosphere of the place. The staff is amazing and you can tell by talking to any of the residents that they love it there. Definitely highly recommend this facility!

My mother is a resident at the oaks and absolutely loves it. They are amazing to her and makes her feel like home. She loves the atmosphere and the employees that work there. As a caretaker for an elderly relative, I have visited many facilities, searching for the perfect one. I found it right here at The Oaks! Everyone is so kind and caring and the home and grounds are immaculate! Food, activities, social functions are all so wonderful here. The residents are obviously happy and well cared for! I would recommend The Oaks to any and everyone looking for the perfect home for their elderly loved ones. It really is HOME!

The Oaks at Ellijay is a nice looking facility and the staff are friendly. The meals are adequate. However, I don't feel that my mom always gets the assistance/attention that she needs. She is deaf, but most don't take the time to adequately communicate with her which makes her more confused and irritable. My mom is stubborn about asking for help and I think that's taken advantage of, at times. My biggest complaint is the inability to reach anyone after 4:30 or on the weekends. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. The residents are very friendly and fun. It has been a very pleasant experience for our friend.

Oaks at Ellijay is a nice and mostly quiet place. It's friendly and it has a beautiful view. My friend really loves having a room to herself.
I would recommend the community to others. The friendliness of the staff is something that stands out to me. The community feels like a home away from home. They have amenities of a hotel, but doesn't feel like one. My loved one isn't happy with the food. The community does have a set menu and the residents get to select their meals. Moved my mom from an Emeritus location in Buford, Ga that was terrible to Cameron Hall. You won't know it was the same woman who was wanting to die to the happy, smiley lady you see today. They residents at Cameron Hall are treated with love and dignity. I can't say enough goof things about the care givers and staff at Cameron Hall. They are fantastic.
They are very, very good! We really have no complaints! It is the only one in Ellijay, GA, but it is working out great! Everyone is very nice!
