Office staff was really nice. The place could use an update.
I visit my mother quite often unannounced. When I walk in someone is always there to greet me and have me sign in. My mother is in the memory care unit but they do have her come out for events on the other side when enough staff is available to assist her. The staff is very attentive & friendly when I visit and for the most part she seems happy. I feel my mother is safe and well cared for ..she always tells me how good her food is too. I would recommend this faculty to others .
The staff have been very nice to us and I don't have any complaints about the facility itself. My only comments would be that billing has been incorrect a lot. I think they could do more activities or engagement with the memory care residents. I think for the price and what's available in town, I would recommend Oaks at Habersham to others looking.

My husband was hospitalized for over 3 months before a definitive diagnosis was made. He was in 4 different hospitals throughout his illness. The 1st assisted living facility was my worst nightmare. He ended up with sepsis after being there for one week. While he was in the hospital I contacted A PLACE FOR MOM & it was the 1st time I could relax because of their help. Staff is very helpful when I visited or called .. they have went out of their way to help my mom and us .. the only thing possibly on the downside is sometimes it seems they don't have the staff to accommodate and get my mom outside the facility .. she's in memory care . But I feel over all she's in an excellent environment and I would recommend them to others.

The people who work there are caring, understanding and helpful. This is a small facility and the staff gets to know the residents which is great. The small size is perfect for my husband who is introverted. There have been little issues along the way and everything has been (or is being) addressed in a timely and gracious manner.

Many times my mother would ring for someone to take her to the bathroom, especially at night, and she'd be ignored. I've had nasty aide on the phone and she refused to give me her name & when they took my mother to hospice, someone went into her room & stole all her perfume bottles! They were Christmas presents, expensive & full! No one has ever been held accountable. Many tomes had to call & get someone to clean her room. Most were nice but some were nasty.
