Staff is really friendly, when i am there for a visit and the see that mom is still in her room at lunch or dinner they come ask to make sure she knows its time to eat. On the other side.. if families are taking a tour.. the facility really needs to hire someone to clean the carpet in the main area, just past the entrance way the carpet has been stained with whatever it is, for a few months now. My mother-in-law is quite happy there. She says all the aides are very nice and take good care of her. The amenities are good. My mother-in-law is in a one bedroom. There is a separate small sitting area big enough to hold two recliners. She has a kitchenette that has a small refrigerator and a kitchen sink with counter space for a microwave. The bedroom has a big wide closet.

The facility "feels" clean and is pleasant to enter and tour around. That's a plus vs. other facilities. My mother in law says they often send her food that she can't eat. She has to have a fairly restrictive diet and they don't seem to remember that. They also sometimes seem to send out food that isn't a rounded meal, like they ran out and put on the plate whatever they still have in the kitchen. Not sure how often this happens but enough to start bothering her. And she not a complainer.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Also one of the less expensive places which fit our budget. The price was right and they had a room available.

Senior staff are really nice and helpful. A lot of the younger staff not so much. Building and apartments are nice and reasonably maintained. Food quality needs help. They had a chef but lost them. Overall a good value when compared to others. Smaller community which was good. For mom.

I've had her at the Oaks in Savannah ever since and that place is just wonderful! Socially, it's been so much better, and the staff there is very gentle and patient with my mom. They also have a lot of entertainment for them, very good food for an assisted living facility. I think the substance there is far greater than [community name removed].
