We have had somewhat of a mixed experience with Marsh View Senior Living. The facility itself is gorgeous. It is well kept, clean, and always smells nice. They also have a great variety of activities to keep everyone busy and entertained. The aide staff is wonderful. The girls that do the hands-on help are all friendly, caring, and hard-working. We're very happy with how things have gone at Marsh View Senior Living, I'd rate them highly across the board! It's a nice looking place, and everyone seems very friendly. And Mom seems to really like the food, and all of our loved ones who have visited have also had good things to say about it!
I was impressed by the facility and the staff, but it was quite a distance from our home.
The memory care unit is just the right size for my mother. All of the staff is very friendly and have the residents well being at heart. Being a first time user of a memory care community my mother has been a little slow to fit in. However she seems to be doing better with each visit. I would recommend Marsh View to anyone that needs their service.
This is my first experience with a Memory Care Facility and I am satisfied. Marsh View Senior Living was competitively priced and the staff is very friendly.
Caught a staff member sleeping with her head on the table(memory care). Mom skin was dirty, they don't wash and bathe the residents like they supposed to. After my mom had several incidents ( falling and ER visits) I moved her out!!!
I don't recommend this place, the people that work there are nice but they do not take care of the people. I made sure that my husband got a shower every other day and I changed his sheets on the bed, I took his clothes and sheets home to wash. He was there for 2 months and his bathroom and floor got cleaned once. I would give all 5 but have a few issues with billing they don't seem to concerned about fixing. I have stated several times we will do her laundry but they keep wanting to charge me 55 a month to do. Also with dining I've told them repeatedly not to bring food to her room because they charge 3 every time they do. Her memory is not there so when they ask if she wants them to bring her something she says yes because she forgets they charge for that. This was a once a place that provided peace of mind knowing that your loved one was being looked after properly and their was genuine concern.for their welfare. After 3 different management companies in as many years, the peace of mind has changed to genuine concern and unbelievable stress. Numerous safety issues, continual staff changes, and other issues to numerous to mention, have changed the atmosphere entirely. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this facility and advise looking elsewhere.
