We brought my dog Owen here Sat night while he was having a seizure, because we had a issue with one of the doctors, years ago they turned us away and had drive another 25 minutes to and vet. I would not recommend this veterinary clinic I been advised that should report the incident,😡

Let’s see if this gets put on fb now. I wouldn’t bring my pet here if someone paid me... Tried for 2 days to get results of X-ray for my 14 YO dog.. (coming from radiologist) no one would give me results once they were in... it had to be Dr. Ira...I was told he called me and left a message (he did not) I called 5x to no avail - was told he would call me LATER... he finally called me and had the audacity to scream at me telling me i better listen to him and I better not ever yell at his “girls” (which i did not - I even s... read more

It has taken me awhile to write a review. On July 6 while we were at the shore for vacation our Doberman stop walking. We called around no one could see her. We called ocean view and said there will be a long wait. So they came out to see her and they took her pretty fast. They Examined her and said it was not good she need to see neurologist right away. I had my first bad experience at Oceanview Vet. This is a shame because I always felt as if they took good care of our animals. I feel like I was charged for a procedure that wasn’t even performed. My dog was given back to me the same way he was brought in. I also was over charged after looking at the receipt. I was charged $900 for absolutely nothing. I’m very disappointed. I’m even more upset I have to find a new vet for my poor injured baby.

Before putting my cat on antibiotics, they recommended an Xray and blood work. The $200.00 Xray determined nothing and I did not feel like it should have been done before trying out meds.

There’s a vet there that doesn’t check charts before writing prescriptions. My sister’s cat was given the WRONG script. Paid $160.00 and when she called Dr Ira Niedweske, not only will he not give her a new script but literally told her to take her business elsewhere for his mistake!! Well, I hope everyone takes their business elsewhere. What kind of customer service is this. No compassion for the cat that needs his right type of insulin.

ATTENTION PET OWNERS: DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO Ocean View Veterinary Hospital NJ! Not only was Dr. Salerno the worst vet I’ve ever encountered (beyond unqualified), the staff including office manager Mario are completely unprofessional and lack courtesy and respect. After spending $500 on a vet visit that left my dog’s issues unresolved, the staff denied honoring the military discount, insisting “veterans take advantage and abuse the system” (as per office manager Mario). If I could give a 0 star review I would. The employees here are terrible!!! Also Dr Lisa is horrible so long story short my mom took our dog there to see if they could help her but instead caused us emotionally stress. So they gave the exam and told us she had Pyometra which is blood that can burst in the uterus like a ticking time bomb and charge us $500!!! And only gave our dog antibiotics nothing for the pain!!!! Then 1 employee had the nerve to say well if would of been prevented if you got your dog spayed earlier in lif... read more
