This place used to be outstanding. I donate when I can. Although it drains me when I'm training, it feels great to know I'm helping someone out there and the money is the bonus. Most of the staff is professional and friendly one reason I would always recommend this place. I recently had a bad experience and the way it was handled made me change my mind about this place. Wish I would’ve went somewhere else. I almost went my full donation and was suppose to receive $125 and at the end because I got really sick and light headed they did a return and said that I will only be receiving $25 I was in shock because I was 94% in which they said it was corporates fault. I also can’t believe that I put myself through that pain for $25. I do not recommend this area at all. Thank you for reading my review.
BEST building facility in Knoxville. A smaller location than others, which I find nice. Staff friendly , prompt , curtious. VERY thorough first time donar intake. Expect 2 plus hours , then donate. About $600 for first 8 donations , 2 per week 4 weeks. Then regular donar pay.
Octapharma is by far the best plasma donation facility that can be. The staff are, put simply, an absolute delight to be around. It’s like a big family here. I actually look forward to donating so I can see my cherished friends here and not to mention the cause I’m supporting. I first came here welcomed warmly, and it’s been nothing shy ever since. I write this out of sincere gratitude, but also because Carly encouraged me to (haha). If you choose to donate here, you will not be disappointed!
Tried contacting over the phone to ask questions about my eligibility. I was clearly bothering the person I spoke with because he rushed me off the phone so fast and didn’t care if I had anymore questions. He was very rude. And he said that even though I made an appointment I couldn’t be seen there (no additional reasoning I just can’t be seen there because none of centers are accepting new patients regardless of what the website says) and I should watch social media to see if I can come in.
