RecommendedI went to the center on Friday as a new donor. I walked in and no one was there to show me where to go or ask what I was there for. Someone finally can to the front desk. went there yesterday was told husband's ID plus photo of ss card and copy of award for ss benefits was not good enough so left went to SS got a print out called back to octa to confirm they asked if his full name was on it never said anything about needing it stamped went back. I was told I had to get my doctor fill out a form because of meds that aren’t on your list. So I did and my doctor clearly stated fine for 2xs weekly donations. Because she did not specify what the meds were for and that part wasn’t even hi lighted I was turned down. Your loss LFB Plasma accepted me right away and pay better.
I came in for a donation and I had to do my yearly physical along with blood work. I was then told it would be 7 days for the blood work to come back from lab. this was 4 weeks ago. Now they want me to come in again and do blood work again. all because they dropped the ball. but I'm the one that has to pay the price for their mistake. how do u loose someone's blood.
