When we bought our house over two years, we took over the Orkin contract so we have had continuous service for termite and pest control. When the termite inspector noticed a rodent problem in the crawl space, which was overlooked by the pest control inspector, I asked to speak to the Branch Manager. Disappointed in all facets of the service received from this office. The phone is never answered, and calling the network once resulted in their operator calling the office and still no answer. I published a negative review about the lack of access and response, and eventually talked with a manager (Carl) after he read the review. Really disappointed in the service we have received from Orkin. I have had a contract with Orkin for three years, and over that time we have experienced more pest issues than what we originally contacted them for. When we first called, we had an issue with roaches that a tenant brought into our property. It wasn't a bad infestation, and we saw immediate results after one visit from the Orkin Man. Very disappointed. Was misquoted on the phone and then involved in an awkward dispute between the rep and the Corp. office. My condition has gotten worse since they arrived but in the process they managed to damage my kitchen floors, break my water line on my fridge, put white caulk in a crack on my hardwood floors, and leave snap traps in reach of my children even though I made it very clear they should not be in sight. Tried to use these no-counts to get rid of a moth problem. First, after talking to their central office, I was told they would have the local Orkin dealer call me back that day. After two days and repeated calls, i finally got a call back from a lady named Judy. She set up a window of 3-5 PM the next day (friday) to come and do an inspection I waited from 3-5 with no-call, no-show. For 35 years we were happy with Western Pest service. We could call or visit the local office and arrange service dates and times. Occasionally I would take bugs to the office so they could bring the appropriate sprays. Suddenly without notice or our approval our Western service was turned over to Orkin. The service went very bad very fast. We were given only a day or two notice when they were coming and Orkin never would say whether they were coming before or after noon. I would give Orkin no stars if I could! I am extremely disappointed with Orkin at Wylderose Court! We had had a service contract with Western Pest for 13 years when Western Pest was bought by Orkin. I paid for a full year of service in June, 2016 - $497.00. Apparently the only way you get notified of an upcoming appointment is via phone, from a number that caller-id does not identify as Orkin. Greg Finn was condescending and disrespectful from the start. I removed all of the infested clothing from the house and put it downstairs. He made some snide comment about my cleanliness and entitlement to have so many clothes. I asked him to look in a very specific location for pest and he failed to do so. The result of this was treatment of one pest, but not another we needed treatment for. When they did their follow up I pointed it out once again.
