Made an appt in the morning but they were unable to come the same day despite their advertisement that if you call before 2, they can come out. . So the appt was made for the next day. The next day they cancelled 30 minutes before the appt. Then they said the next available appt would be 6 days later! We wasted a whole day not being able to call another company. Unprofessional.
I can't comment on their extermination skills because they have now scheduled and missed THREE SEPARATE APPOINTMENTS. Two hour window on Monday - I got a call saying no one was coming because someone didn't show up to work. I had taken off work and was very upset but I rescheduled for Tuesday (taking another day off work) because I needed to get my mouse situation under control. Poor communication between the main office and the technicians. After waiting for two hours for my scheduled appointment, they never showed up. The office said that my appointment was not communicated to the technician. After this, I did not want to schedule another appointment. Once again, they somehow they didn't understand that. Several days later a technician showed up at my house. I was in the middle of an important meeting and I had to interrupt it in order to come to the door.
I understand it is during COVID but it is basic courtesy to call your customer if you are not going to show up. After rescheduling the 1st time due to a no-show, I got rescheduled 2 more times without so much as a phone call to let me now or check to see if I even was available for the dates/times you rescheduled me for!! On top of the fact that I have tenants and need to give them notice and take into consideration their schedule as well! SO NOT IMPRESSED! Would not recommend.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I contacted Orkin to remove wasps from my yard, they have been out multiple times in 2 months and the wasps are worse than ever. I called their office and spoke to the manager Jacob who was extremely rude and defensive the entire conversation. They had no answer other than they can't stop flying insects. Awful product and rude management.
We have had "critters" in the attic making lots of noise for a couple of years. Called Orkin and others). Orkin came out, pleasant guy, minimal inspection, insisted we had mice. We knew it was not mice as the noise and running, and scratching was too loud. "No, it's mice, we can come back and put out bait stations to your out side, bait the trap and monitor it monthly" plus the cost for these bait stations at a ridiculous amount of money. Beware when you sign a contract with Orkin...and read all of the fine print. We signed a 12 month contract to have them come out 6 times, and after the last visit, the tech told us that was our last one, contract was up, and we didn't need to do anything further. I then received a text saying they were coming in 3 days. I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible experience. When we purchased our home, we discovered a carpenter ant infestation. When I called Orkin, the first service rep I spoke with told me that during the first visit to our home, the exterminator would spend 1-2 hours total in our house and would locate all nests to treat/remove them.
