We have a raccoon living under the deck at our rental property. I hired Orkin because they said they'd inspect under the deck and house and even asked about the crawl space entry. I spoke to the Livermore branch, and they said they had a good chance of trapping it. Today is day 5, and I haven't heard anything. I've tried calling, but there's no way to reach the Livermore team--only the call center. The call center could only say there has been no activity.
Our technician Z (Zarius) has been fantastic, even on a super hot day! Is very detail oriented and always available. Chris is knowledgeable on all pest control resources and we are glad to have them helping us!
It's been seven days since the initial visit from Orkin serviceman. Hilario was on time and professional. He explained the inspection process and contract. Mice were coming into my home through the shed. The yard around the townhouse was sprayed. On the inside, the stove and refrigerator were pulled out and another mouse hole was found. It was blocked. This is the first summer so far I have not had ants. My first interaction was with Austin. He's fantastic! He came to my home and assessed the situation and made recommendations. I look forward to his report every month on his findings and feedback. I have used other pest control companies and I will say I'm very happy with Orkin. I read the other reviews and I guess I got lucky with my tech Austin.
I have had Orkin service for almost three years and it was good up until 3 months ago. I have had nobody show up and I'm calling to find out it wasn't on the person route when I have messages that it was confirmed. I have had technician blaming office scheduling and etc. for the scheduling issues. I have had them show up out of the time they gave. I have only asked for communication and the same technician. Do NOT consider ORKIN for any of your pest issues. You will regret it. They only want your money. They will try to sign you up with a one year contract that is automatically billed every month. Then they DON'T SHOW UP ! I can't tell you how much I regret calling them. I tried to cancel my service several times after realizing that they are worthless. They said "Sorry , you signed a contract for one yesr". I told them that it was they who didn't show ..They even admitted it was their error ....but still would not cancel... read more
Their on field service representative did not give us a call regarding diagnosis of pest issue in garage. So I had to call their office several times just to get that sorted. Additionally, their in office representative need a LOT of training on how to speak with their customers, super rude. On top of it, the pest issue isn't sorted yet. I am going to have call some other service provider who can better diagnose the issue
This was the only pest control company that could provide service on the same day. The other 6 businesses I contacted only had appointments that over 24 hours later AND would only be to provide estimates--no service. Given that we had a rodent issue, timely service was imperative. Tim was professional, clear, and respectful. I am very pleased with my experience and will use the business again.
Austin Toland, the residential route manager , is very helpful , efficient and professional. We had a carpet beetle issue in our house . Austin visited our house every week for a month to spray the inside of the house , the surrounding area of the house to exterminate the bugs . He is always timely and effective with his work . I strongly recommend Austin to our friends and family . Thank you Austin for a job well done !
