Our servicer was very patient with us. Apparently we failed to respond to his door knock. So he did preliminary work outside until he felt sure we were home and then tried to contact us again. That time successfully. He finished his work fairly quickly (since he had already spent time prepping) and left with a friendly smile and farewell wish. We commend him for his inventiveness at continuing to work and not just leaving immediately when we failed to respond.
