We had a group of 18 (yes, 18!) and everybody either loved Osteria Panevino or, if they didn't love it, they liked it quite a bit. There were lots of smiles and zero complaints from our group. And I think everyone in it would return to Osteria Panevino.
Great restaurant! Loved the drinks, the service was good, food came out piping hot, and was delicious. Location was fun, and easy to get to. I would definitely return if in the area.
I have always enjoyed this restaurant and find that it serves flavorful and authentic Italian food at a good price. The service is professional and prompt. This time I dined alone (because I was on a business trip), which is rarely popular with busy restaurants on a Friday night. I was nonetheless treated well and the staff was attentive without being pushy. I will definitely eat here again.
This was an overall memorable experience. I will definitely return when in San Diego!
We arrived on time for our reservation but they were unable to seat us quickly. Manager apologized and bought drinks for our party at the bar. He really handled it welll. Food and service were awesome.
Great location, easy to get to and parking validated. Lobster ravioli was very good. Kids chicken fingers and fries were very good. All the food came out very fast. If craving Italian great place to try.
Excellent food & great service
This is one of the best places I have eaten at in a while, food was so good you can taste the fresh homemade pasta nothing better
We enjoyed the salad with pears and nuts to start and it was really good. Then we had the broccoli with garlic which was awesome and fettuccini with veal. The pasta was good but very mild in flavour. I would try something different next time. Service was great and nice atmosphere. If you want to have Italian in the GasLamp area this is likely your best bet...Had a similar dinner at Asti next door and enjoyed this place much more.
