We ordered the calamari based on the waiters recommendation and it was tasteless. Our main courses were both adequate. The cocktails and the service were both very good. There are better options in the gaslamp quarter.
We absolutely loved this place. Everything about it was perfect, from the moment we walked in until we walked out. Spectacular evening!
Entertained 10 people. Food service was excellent. Wine selection for Italian win s was superb. Spent a bit more than planned but well worth it. Staff attentive. Our guests really enjoyed it. Will be back the next time I am in San Diego.
Enjoyed an authentic Italian meal that rivaled those we enjoyed in Italy. Lasagna was excellent! We completed the mean with fantastic Tiramisu, lemoncello and cappuccino! I highly recommend!
Amazing foods and service but tables outside are too close We went for family members birthday but couldn't hear ourselves singing because of loud table literally backed up to ours.
Very extensive menu and always willing to accommodate special requests. The sevice is friendly and the outdoor seating is great fun.
On our honeymoon. Great location in the Gaslamp! Very loud setting so not a great idea for super romance... food was very yummy! I had the short rib gnocchi & my new hubby had the pasta carbonara. We had the buffalo caprese for an app and it was awesome!!!! Our drinks were a little to sugary but yummy! Great choice for a night out in the gaslamp!
The artichoke appetizer was very tasty and the limoncello cake was to die for. My friend's pasta dish was very good, but my swordfish tasted fishy. I learned long ago whenever I order swordfish to ask first whether it's fresh and I neglected to do so this time. Had I done so and learned that it was not, I would have ordered something else. While I would recommend the restaurant to a friend, I would caution them not to order the swordfish.
The food is excellent. My wife and I had a great app and the entres were a great size and very well prepared. Service was great and the atmosphere is perfect. the patio on the sidewalk of the gaslamp makes for great people watching as well.
