LOVE this place. Maria served me and 2 colleagues on a Friday night. We sat outside where the weather and the people watching was great. My friends wanted carbonara which wasn’t on the menu but she still managed to get made for them. The gnocchi cacio de pepe is to die for. Lemon dessert tasted like they have a lemon tree out back. Maria makes you feel like you’re the most important person that she ever waited on.
Great service and friendly staff, but the pasta was executed incorrectly and the bolognese sauce lacked any depth of flavor at all.
We selected Osteria Panevino because of a friend’s recommendation and our disappointment with a Little Italy experience . If you like real Italian cuisine, you’ll like this place. The place was busy, always a good sign! We both were impressed by the service and our meals were really good. It is located in the Gaslamp Quarter but it’s the real deal not a tourist spot. Subpar experience disappointing
Terrific pizza and salad. Good service, nice ambiance. Real Italian.
Food was excelent and the service was very good. We will be returning in the future.
