friendly service and great food. well spending time
The server was rushing with our table and messed up two orders completely—she completely misheard or misunderstood the orders and brought out two completely wrong items. She then was combative saying that we were in the wrong... it was very awkward for the whole table. She brought back out the menus and we repointed to our original orders and she did get it right the second time. I wish she had gotten her manager to speak to us or had down something special for the table.
The food was amazing. The staff also provided great service. The tables are a bit close together and can get noisy next to other parties, but the food and service make it worth it. The osso bucco was perfect. I will definitely come back to this place.
Oldest Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp. Traditional, well prepared food and affordable. Quaint trattoria atmosphere. Good for families. Very busy on a Saturday night so service was friendly and hurried. Bread is delicious!
The food was delicious. They were not shy with the cheese on the pizza. The service was superb.
Panevino has become fave spot for us in gaslamp. They will customize their typical pizzas, we had burrata tomato and some sausage ... fabulous! The pappardelle ragu was rich, thick and perfect for the tasty noodles. Our server was from Sicily and gave us some great travel tips, a nice extra. Fabulous food, incredible service. We loved every bit of it. A little pricey that usual Italian, however there’s nothing “usual” about this lovely exceptional restaurant!! Memorable meal
