Great people, good service, nice setting. Maybe it was a off night for the food unfortunately my pappardelle and ragu sauce was very under seasoned and very bland. The pasta was over cooked mushy when it should of been al dente with a little bite. I am not opposed to second chances so I will return and try again to see if the food comes out better!!
Not very impressed with the food and the wine is ridiculously priced. Not sure How they can get away selling a $50 bottle of wine for $420, but hey good for them. I know that there are so many other great Italian places that I would probably not go again.
The staff members were busting their butts when we were there. They were kind & attentive. The atmosphere was great. I had the chicken Parmigiano which was no better, if not worse than Olive Garden. My husband had the lamb ravioli which he loved. The wine was also great.
Amazing food and great service
Fantastic food , wine list, and our server Maria from Sicily made our experience a true treat and so special. We highly recommend this restaurant and plan on making it our new favorite. Thank you so much Osteria Panevino!
I go to this place whenever I’m in SD, (found it in 2019, I’ve been 3 times) I lived in Italy for some time and I can tell authenticity when I taste it! This place has the best veal risotto dish in California, we also entertained some appetizers and the buffalo caprese was a perfect pre dinner app Decent wine list, martinis are great. Afogato is always a must, limoncello cake was delicious Please go here and support a local business during these hard times!
Great service and food. We sat outside, tables were set in the street. It was nice just wish they would have closed the sidewalk down, a lot of foot traffic walking near us.
