My first time visiting this restaurant and I loved it! Great service and delicious food. Loved the atmosphere, too. Will definitely return next time I'm in San Diego.

It was our first time dining with Osteria Panevino and it did not disappoint. The service was good, everyone was friendly, and the food was delicious.
One of the best places I’ve eaten! Best kept secret,sshhh! The service is excellent. We were offered lamb osso bucco (not on the menu) and it was one of the best things I’ve eaten. Pasta is fresh. The pappardelle w veal is sooo good. The risotto with truffles is not to be missed if you like risotto. They brought us tiramisu and gelato that I didn’t need to eat but couldn’t stop myself! It is soo delish!
Really enjoyed the pappardelle ragu and pear with blue cheese salad. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed sitting outdoors - actually quieter than inside.
We had a Sunday lunch at Osteria Panevino before we went to a 2:00 pm play at the San Diego Repertory Theater. I had a gluten free spaghetti carbonara, which was fantastic, and my wife had a salad with tuna - very fresh, seared on the outside and raw on the inside. She said it was excellent. Nice waiters, who were attentive without hovering. A very comfortable setting too. A great meal and we quite enjoyed ourselves.
