I usually love this place, but waiting 30 for a grooming drop off and making them sit in a crate for hours...get a new grooming routine bc this current process is insane and as a person who loves my dog, I don't appreciate it.
I just adopted a kitten from Aurora Animal Control on Tuesday. They sent her to OAH for her spay. Upon her release, they missed a severe upper respiratory infection. I had to bring her back yesterday. Aurora Animal Control agreed to pay for the boarding last night until they would authorize treatment, but this morning OAH released MY cat back to them, they are not the legal owners and I was never contacted. Do not trust them with your pets. They may release them to a shelter without your knowledge or consent.
I Oswego animal hospital is very good, very efficient, I highly recommend them for your pets.
I just wish they didn't say "I'm going to take her in the back for her shots" Last time they took my 12 lb mixed poodle in the back, they said she tried to bite her, she hasn't bitten anyone while ive been in the room. She doesn't even snap.
I don't particularly care for seeing a different doctor each time we go. I just did not like this last doctor we saw at all. She put my dog in unnecessary pain.
Brought my cat in almost positive she had a broken jaw, possibly hit by a car. They took xrays which cost me $200. Said her Jaw was not broken. Had some sort of rental displacement, which caused her Jaw not to move. Referred me to VCA in Aurora. Which they told me her jaw was broken and needed CT scan ($3-4000) and bloodwork and reconstructive jaw surgery $3-4000. Plus cost of meds ect... SO THE FIRST INITIAL VISIT TO OSWEGO ANIMAL HOSPITAL WAS A DONATION.. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND OUT $250
!!!PLEASE READ!!! they raped my doggie in a missionary sex position. Came back pregnant, cute pOPPy though. !!!
