Like many of the reviews posted on Our Country Homes I warn all to beware of missing anything on a walk through. My experience is a bit unique as I purchased a brand new never lived in OCH home from the original owner. The house is 7 months old. To say the quality of the finish work is poor would be very generous. Was is most disappointing is the lack of ownership of the issues from OCH. We’ve built new construction three times before, so we aren’t new to this process. We have experienced poor quality, little to no management of the subcontractors and no one takes responsibility for mistakes made. Every time someone comes out to “fix” something, something else gets damaged. I’ve taken off more days then I can count to sit at home and wait for warranty people only to have them forget the parts needed or cause more issues while they are in my home. We just purchased our forever home from Our Country Homes and we couldn’t be happier. From our initial visit to move in day all the staff have been amazing. Leann was our sales associate and was most helpful with all of our questions and needs. What a great experience! The warranty team picked up next. Justin and Aaron were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it was time for our walk thru. Great experience for our beautiful new home!

We are now 6 weeks into our new Our Country Home house. We were able to take one of their plans and customize it to suit our specific needs. Marsha Crider guided us all the way in the building process, from acquiring the lot through the process of developing a plan. We lived out of state - we moved to the Texas area to be closer to family - and we were a bit apprehensive how building from out of state would work. I agree 100% with gentleman who reviewed his falls of prosper OCH experience. If i could give negative stars i would. The worst build experience. Delays, excuses, lies, and extremely poor finish out. We bought a custom home package and they are NOT a custom home builder. Even the design center OCH used said they are only semi-custom. We have much to replace and re-do on this home.
