Oxford Treatment Center definitely knows how to treat addiction and has basically saved my life. I recommend this place to all because it really works and as they say in the meetings “it works if you work it”. Please trust your gut and get help like I did because you’re worth it. My therapist Ambriel is a godsend because without her understanding of the complications of my addiction and her upfront honest I don’t think I would have stayed.

The biggest blessing of my life was coming to Oxford treatment center because it was here that I realized I was an addict and recovery is the only way possible for me to live life and to be successful. My gratitude is extremely high for the overall quality of care I received at this place from the TAs to the nurses and counselors because without them this place couldn’t be as amazing as it is.

When I got tired of the daily suffering I decided to make a call and calling American addiction centers was the best thing for me. They facilitated an easy transition to Oxford treatment center and since being here I’ve been able to get plugged back in to recovery after my horrific relapse. Having a support system is key and all the nightly peer led 12 step meetings are great plus H&I from NA comes in every Thursday and AA has started coming in on Saturday night. Getting and staying here are 2 different things and staying is always the best option because I’ve seen some of my peers leave prematurely and it was a bad result just like the na reading says the ends are always the same, jails institutions and death. I’m so full of gratitude that I chose to heal and enter recovery. My experience at Oxford has been really good and my peers were such a huge help and kept me from leaving a couple of times. The overall staff was above average and taught me a lot about how to cope with events as they come. The food was good and the campus is beautiful. I’m so thankful for another chance at living life.

Being here 40 days was exactly what I needed because I didn’t even start clearing up until the second or third week. I can’t imagine having to leave any sooner than I am because I know how strong my addiction has been. What I learned here was the greatest education I could ever receive and now I’m going to the the sober living program resolutions in Oxford to continue my recovery. I’m so grateful for the staff here and everyone was so welcoming.

I was very hesitant about going to any treatment center much less Oxford but all I can say now is good things about this place because now I have a totally different outlook on the direction of my life and where it’s headed. The equine therapy was my greatest experience and Marty, Greg, Fred and Wesley are a cut above all along with my awesome counselor Katie.

I definitely recommend this treatment center to anyone that has a drug or alcohol program because the staff are the very best at treating this disease. I’ve been to 7 treatment centers and Oxford is the one that helped change my life and my thinking. I come into treatment so angry and not wanting to be here but as time went on I began to notice I was mainly angry at myself and my addiction. My therapist Deja is a lifesaver and showed me that it’s to start liking myself so I can learn to love myself and that’s starting to happen. I believe I can stay clean now but I’ve got a lot of work to do and plan on doing it.
