As I write this I'm feeling all kinds of ways because I've gained so much clarity being at Etta. Kaitlin my therapist was so generous of her time with me and taught me so much about being patient and trusting the treatment process. Mr Hank has the best lectures on the hijacked brain and Mr Barry brings a wealth of recovery experience to the table. All of my peers helped my recovery so much and for that I'm forever grateful. At first I didn’t take things seriously but as I settled in and started to take the cotton out of my ears and put it in my mouth I started to realize just how much my addiction harmed me, my family and society. I learned that every day sober is a successful day and I’ve found that to be true and to let this live in my heart. My therapist Victoria was a blessing in disguise and I consider her my Angel in sobriety. Everyone here has been amazing and so awesome from the cleaning staff, kitchen staff, all nurses, doctors and therapists but a big THANK YOU to the TAs for always being there for me and all my amazing peers. I most definitely recommend this facility for anyone suffering from addiction and who wants relief.

I have a whole new outlook on addiction now thanks to Oxford treatment center and the staff here. I was in so much denial about my addiction but now I definitely know I’m an addict and need continued daily work on myself so I can recover.

Everything is going good and glad to be here. Thanks to my counselor Deja and case manager Tiffany for always being there for me. The cabin is clean and it’s a blessing to be able to help my fellows here as we help each other stay sober.

Talk about shaky and sick when I arrived and the nurses help nurse me back to health. The whole medical staff are awesome and jewell my counselor was super. Mr Barry brings that Louisiana Cajun flavor to his groups and keeps everyone engaged. Miss Cassie was so nice and very efficient in getting my aftercare plan for discharge. I enjoyed the outdoor part the most and took in as much as I could in every group. Way to go Oxford treatment Center, thank you all so much.

I’d like to thank my counselor Forrest and Mr Barry for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Greatest choice I made in my life was coming back here for another round of treatment after a relapse. Miss Maria my case manager is awesome as well. I have zero complaints and praise all the staff here. The kitchen and cleaning crew deserve big props to put up with all us. There’s also big bass in the lake on campus.

Good overall experience even with some of the drama that takes place with all us addicts and all of a sudden no drugs. What helped me the most was to stay focused on my sobriety and to remember that I came here to help save my life. Mr Hank is amazing and his lectures are up front and personal that will rock you to your core. Mr Greg in equine therapy was so cool and related the horses to real life experiences that had lots of us crying because of the family dynamic.
