My first class was the hijacked brain with Mr Hank and I knew then I was in the right place because for the very first time I realized that I have a brain illness and not a moral dilemma. OTH has given me more hope about my present and future.
I wanted to leave everyday for about a week and something finally clicked that I was in the place where my God wanted me to be. Since then I've grown so much in sobriety and now help others daily who struggled like me. Love OTC.
When I look at my entire treatment I realize that oxford gave me new tools to cope with daily living that I never had before. Now I can say that my recovery is the most important thing in my life because without it I will never have anything.
I have learned that I cannot stay sober alone and I need the help of others and today I embrace this and have found it to be an asset. Sobriety is a wonderful gift I have received and I cherish it all the more.
This was really better and more organized than my previous treatment center and I learned so much more here.
By far OTC was great. No huge complaints from me. The staff showed concern always.
I got everything and more than I showed up for and Jarome was absolutely the best therapist ever. Han's hijacked brain, 12 step walk and ropes courses are the best as is all of equine group demonstrations.
After a long relapse Oxford was the place that gave me the best possible opportunity to begin my recovery journey again and for that I am eternally grateful. I stopped going to meetings and calling my sponsor so now its all about vigilance everyday.
I'd rate higher if I could. OTC is a life saver and has changed me into a new person who now wants to help others recover from addiction. The classes and teachers here are so humble and compassionate. I highly recommend for sure.
