This company took our application fee almost $100 and told us the property we were going to apply for was just taken and then tried getting ** to rent in a bad neighborhood for $200 more. I asked for our deposit back and was only given $45 and she claims because of the holidays it may take longer it's been 3 weeks! SCAM!
This company is a rip off. My son applied for a property, paid his application fee, and never heard anything back from them. They did not even check his credit, because he has an Experian account and he get notification, anytime his credit is ran. Never checked his landlord verification, or employment verification. This rental company is **** percent a scam!!!!! Dont give them application fee money! They will steal it from you and never call you again!!! The only phone number to get ahold of anyone is a call service that will not give you any information regarding your application. They just tell you to wait to be contacted by the company. Lived in one of their properties in ****. The apartment was dirty when I moved in. I lived in the apartment for 1 year. This place is definitely a scam. They are just collecting app fees to turn around and dent you for a made up reason. I applied, and the denial letter said the reason was because of my credit. But I do not have a credit inquiry from them. I do however have a credit inquiry from another rental agency that I WAS approved for thats more expensive. Due to my house catching on fire I have to move applied for a house payed three application fees jus not to hear nothing at all I must be out of this home by 5/31/2023. This is a total scam they take people money and you never hear from them again.. I jus want all of my 150 back that I spent Its sad that they do people like this we dont have money to give away.. This place is 100% a scam. You can not convince me otherwise. They have had a property for rent on Zillow and are up to about 20 applicants. I called pacific oak and asked 1. Should I even apply since so many have applied 2. Who is the property manager so I can reach out personally. And 3. Can I see the property and schedule a listing (which when you call it says you can set up a listing via phone with just the address). DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. We were a PCS move unable to see our home in person looked ok through Facetime. Moved into my home and it was damaged, filthy, poorly painted, and poorly maintained. Moved out in 6 days. I put in an application on January 29th and have yet to hear anything back from this company. I have called and just talked to the operator who keeps giving me an email address. I have reached out by email atleast 4 times and have called the corporate office just as much if not more.this company took my application fee x 2 for me and my co applicant and have ghosted me.
