My parents moved into Paintbrush about a month ago and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience all around! My dad has Parkinson’s and dementia and things had been really rough for my mom caring for him on her own. The staff at Paintbrush have been so kind and helpful and since moving in, my dad has improved so much (we think because of the environment being less stressful) and my mom has had nothing but wonderful things to say! As new residents I am amazed at how quickly and accurately the staff have learned not only our names but also our preferences in foods and beverages in the dining room. When there was an adjustment in care that was needed it was resolved immediately and was checked on the following day by several staff to be sure that our request was followed.
