The house and accomodations were awesome. We could not have asked for a better equipped home. I love to cook and the kitchen had any item you would have wanted. We always look for homes with a pool table- as a nice indoor activity during the evening- very few homes in HH have that feature. The hot tub and pool connection was so ideal. This is the perfect house for the family to get together...... We have rented many properties in Hilton Head; 1 Up Wind is by far the best option for our family. The home is meticulously cared for and well equipped with all of the amenities needed to make the stay comfortable. The home's floorplan makes it easy for everyone to be together, and the pool / hot tub with surrounding deck and patio are perfect for relaxing outside. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the view from the balcony very much. We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is decorated beautifully and looks very updated. The only thing in need of repair is the dryer door, it is almost impossible to close. The poolside bathroom could use some cleaning especially on days that are crowded. We will definitely return and would absolutely rent this condo again!!
Good Nice resort, condo was nice but washing machine did not work. Informed palmento dunes resort, they were the booking agent. On Monday they told us the washer needed to be replaced. No access to wash clothes did provided us with clean towels. The days following they sent us to another unit to do laundry which was very inconvenient and they even locked us out several times. By Thursday still no resolution told to continue to use other unit until Saturday. Not even 2 hours later palmento dunes asked if we were done washing ... read more

All of our units are privately owned and require owner's approval whenever replacing the appliances, and then the replacements are not always in stock. However, the new washing machine has been installed and we hope that the resolution discussed with our Front Desk Manager was suitable. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Loved staying at this home for our family vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is beautiful, well maintained and had everything our family needed for a comfortable, relaxing vacation. We will definitely stay here again.
Gathering Place Overall very pleased with our stay. The house is showing a little wear but you will not want for anything. Everything is provided. Our family of eleven were very comfortable in this house. It was a perfect gathering place for our 50th anniversary.
As Good As The Description The condo is clean and spacious. 4 of us stayed here for a work trip, and were very pleased with the condition of the home. I recommend this place.
