Wheaton, IL This was our second time staying at the condo--it is a wonderful vacation accommodation! The furnishings are beautiful. The owners have thought of everything for their guests from a well appointed kitchen, to beach towels and beach chairs. The view is spectacular! We highly recommend this unit and have stayed in others in Hampton Pace as well as other on the island (we have been vacationing in Hilton Head since the early 70s!) --but this one is truly one of the best!
Perfect place for 5 women and tennis! Loved the condo.. even prettier than the photos. View of the ocean from most of the rooms was a welcome sight. We will be back again for our annual tennis trip. Thank you, Karen .

Wow! Best getaway we have had in a long time!! This has to be our most favorite beach vacation ever!! We met as a family with grown children and grandchildren here in Hilton Head! The communication with owner before we even arrived was incredible and set the bar very high for our expectations for any future rentals anywhere! Hot Tub, Swimming Pool, Beach, Smore's, Family.... re-entry to reality was difficult.... Communication with owner, Bill Moser was OVER THE TOP great. Home is just beautiful! Great place!!!!! We loved staying in this condo for a week this August. It was spacious, neat and clean. If you plan on cooking while there, the kitchen has everything needed. The grill on the porch was almost brand new, and we grilled some delicious steaks and chicken breasts with it. We especially enjoyed the large amount of books throughout the entire condo, as well as the board games. The Palmetto Dunes Resort was very beautiful and their customer service was excellent. Dream Vacation I don't even know where to start with this review....Bill and Susan have everything in their house that you will need and more. When we first walked in on Saturday, our mouths dropped not only because of how awesome the house looked but even more it was sooooo clean! Great Stay Perfect place for a weekend get away with wife and 2 young daughters 5 and 2 years old. Park and pool within stones throw from the front door. Evening walks through the grounds was great and the girls loved looking at the gators and turtles from the back porch. Condo was very clean, and in great shape. Would definitely stay here again.
No Place Like Home in Hilton Head! This was our first trip to HHI but definitely not our last! Bill and Susan's home is absolutely amazing. Firstly, the location is ideal. HHI…1st Time, but not the last! Our family of ten (six adults, four children) spent a wonderful week at 1 Upwind. The home was outstanding in every way, and spotless when we arrived. Everything that could possibly be needed for an enjoyable stay is available.
