I wanted to write a review to share my experience with PVH. We brought our British Labrador "Buck" (3 1/2 years old) to this hospital in a panic on April 6th after being completely mis-diagnosed by another Vet. Immediately they were able to determine he had a blockage from swallowing bones that had formed in a few areas of his intestines, colon etc... We took our golden retriever, Cooper, in for shots and a nail trim. Dr. Casto was so very kind with us and our pup! She was very thorough by taking time to answer my questions. She was also very thoughtful by giving Coop a little treat to help make getting the shots easier. I felt very anxious prior to our appointment bc I know our pup is overweight. We took our 16 year old dog there when she was dying to say good bye and so she did not suffer any longer. They were very nice and gave us a place to hold her and tell her good bye. It was a very compassionate and clean. They were wonderful. Thank you.

We understand how frustrating it is to have to travel further away in the evenings and weekends for an emergency. Always looking for Veterinarians that want to do Emergency work.
If I could give negative stars I would. We had our dog in for an annual visit with a complete blood work up and clean bill of health. A few months later she was having trouble peeing and had discomfort. We took her in for an emergency visit (extra charge) to have her examined, x-rays taken to rule out kidney stones, to be given a diagnosis of a UTI. We were given a week if antibiotics.
