The first being I picked up my dog from boarding (I was on vacation for two weeks) only to discover that he had a horrid ear infection. His ear was inflamed, red, bleeding, and obviously painful. I called the vet hospital that I normally go to and they wouldn't even try to see me that day...they said I could come three days later. I knew he couldn't wait.
