Hey new owners, when someone brings their pet in to you for the tearful experience of euthanasia, update your records so you don’t send them a card 7 months later in the mail reminding them that you want to help keep their pet healthy and active and to bring them in for vaccinations/shots

Business response:

Our deepest apologies and sympathies. We will immediately update your file and sincerely apologize for the mistake. If there’s anything we can do please contact the clinic and ask for Justin, (me, new hospital manager)

I had a free voucher to have my cat Neutered, they wanted me to pay $250 for an exam, shots, flea meds etc, now if I have a voucher what makes them think I can afford to pay $250??

Business response:

Carlos: I am reaching out to you via phone. Our staff were not aware that you had a voucher and therefore gave you pricing for an exam, vacs, and the neuter. Voucher clients are not required to undergo all of the usual steps prior to a cat neuter.

I’ve been taking both of my cats to Paw Prints for a few years now. I called today to try to schedule an appointment to get my 7 month old fixed and declawed. The receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE to me and told me that I couldn’t get both of those things done at the same time and that it would require separate surgeries. I absolutely refuse to have him put under twice. Having him put under once is scary and expensive enough. I called Hillcrest and they were so nice and welcoming to me. They helped me schedule the appointment ... read more

Business response:

Kerilyn, thank you for your feedback. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to speak with our practice manager earlier. We apologize for any miscommunication and appreciate you entrusting us with the care of your beloved kitties.

Called in to get 2 prescriptions filled and stated I would be in the next day to pick them up after asking what their hours were for the next day. I was told 7am-7pm. I sent my husband around 8 am the next morning to get the prescriptions only for him to be told they hadn't been signed off and there wasn't going to be a doctor in until 9 am. Why didn't they tell me this on the phone the day before? He can't sit down there for an hour waiting for a doctor to get there. Now I'm going to have to make the 1 hr round trip AGAIN l... read more

Pup lost a nail Charged SEVENTY DOLLARS to put an ace bandage on it that didn't last over night. I could've bought the stuff they used to "fix" it for under $30. Only reason it was $70 was because we had no money. Tried to charge us an emergency fee and their best attempt at fixing an "emergency" didn't last six hours. When they took our payment method there was no professional form it was on a ripped piece of printer paper.

Business response:

Byron, thank you for your feedback! We apologize for any dissatisfaction with your visit. We treat urgent walk-ins with the same care and professionalism as with all of our other clients. We have reached out offline to address your concerns and hope to hear back from you at your convenience.

Was given conficting information/instructions in person that does not match the spay neutering information posted on this site. Was assured by vet during appointment there that my dog would not go into heat before 8 months of age. This occurred at 7 months. Was required have every shot, every booster prior to spaying which has delayed the spay procedure until every shot, booster and required waiting periods in between were met before spaying and assured she would not go into heat if I followed their appointment times. She... read more

Worst clinic in Morgantown area. Misdiagnosed my dog, turns out she had canine dwarfism and the vets at this sham of a clinic said she was fine and just needed some calcium pills...after they charged me hundreds of dollars for x rays.stay away from these idiots! Cheat Lake veterinary is a FAR better clinic, it's not even close.
