I have been coming here since you opened, 20+ years ago. The Dr.'s have treated a number of my pets, from puppies to helping them cross the rainbow bridge, I have relied on your caring and compassion. The saying, "all good things must come to an end" comes to mind. The last few times I have called because of a pet emergency I was told it would be days to see my pet. Had a pet emergency, one dog tried to kill the other dog.....and they wouldn't/couldn't get injured dog in for care. Call back tomorrow at 7:00am, which we did and then proceed to tell us already booked up for today. what about emergencies???? Won't be going back to PFPH and won't recommend them to anyone ever again!!!!
Horrible! I took my small Dog in for a broken foot. They told me she had to have surgery and 7 pins, 1 plate and $2,500 dollars later... I just wanted my fur-baby to be okay. After no follow up from her Surgeon, never seeing the Vet/Surgeon again and some flunky taking her cast off too soon... only two weeks later I get a TEXT message asking me to video tape her walking and I still owed them another $175 dollars. I have been taking my pets to Payson Family Pet Hospital for quite a few years now and have (up until recently) been happy with them. Unfortunately, Payson Family Pet Hospital is yet another business capitalizing on the Coronavirus Pandemic and using it as an excuse to treat customers poorly. I have used Payson Family Pet Hospital for years. I have spent a ton of money on my family pets. In the past, I would say they were amazing. I know that COVID has made things difficult, but their customer service has taken a huge hit in the negative!! I have had to wait over an hour past our appointment time - no apology. But, my last experience was the worst!! I took my dogs in to be spayed and neutered. My male dog developed all of the symptoms they told me to watch for - swelling, hot to the touch, and redness. Called about making an appointment and Cindy, was rude, condescending and did not seem to know what their Covid procedures were. Not sure how you get new business when you treat a potential customer like their phone call is an inconvenience.
