Easiest experience we could have
Very professional. Everything went smooth slight delay with the appraisal but other than that everything went smoothly. Overall a great experience.
Weekly follow up from Damian helped, unfortunately the company that performed the appraisal wasn’t very cooperative, and I wished we could’ve used someone else. But Damian was very helpful on the things he could manage.
Amanda did an excellent job getting me through the refinance process. Everything went smoothly and she was quick to answer any questions I had. When she want available, other loan agents happily assisted me with the information I needed. From start to finish, all the members of the team were friendly and professional.

Amanda with PennyMac was one of the most professional, sincerely caring individuals that I've dealt with concerning business. If I called her she stayed with me through the entire process of my concerns. She would follow up with me when necessary. If the individual I was normally conducting business with wasn't available, she could pick up the ball and run with it. No misquotes, no wrong information, and nothing contrary to my working s with other PennyMac personnel. The experience was great, she put in the work.
Our first application was never addressed and wasted over two weeks of time. We had to keep hounding Penny Mac for update. Penny Mac had our loan that we were refinancing and it still took two months for the title company that you used to complete. Way too long to close. We were told it would close at the end of December.
It was quick and easy, and Chavaya was there the whole way. Only thing is that there is insurance in my escrow, when i pay my insurance separately. I'd like whomever reads these to give me a call some time so we can get that fixed.
Evelyn did a wonderful job of staying in contact with us throughout the closing process. She was on top of things!
