This was our second loan with PennyMac and it went as smoothly as the first one. Great to deal with.
The closing documents were incorrect the first time. I expressed my unhappiness to James and he got right on it. The closing took an additional 3 weeks, but Pennymac made the documents accurate at the second closing. Nothing is perfect, but Pennymac did a great job in correcting their error, timely and with good communication.
I felt like once I got passed on from Patrick.....communication was poor I had to call many times with questions. I never got the second contacts information....He would call periodically but I would have liked to have more contact to see how things were going. Patrick was great at the beginning I just wish we could have had him all the way through

I have closed many, many times and on many homes but this was truly the worst experience of my life. I have never in my lifetime received such poor customer service. Nearly every time I called was a nightmare. A NIGHTMARE!!! I cannot stress this enough. I think I have PTSD from this closing. At one point it was so bad, I was thinking I cannot be talking to Penny Mac....this must be fraud. I honestly thought about calling the AG of your state to report it at one point. It was terrible.
